Manager.
Born at Russell on 8 July 1899, son of L. J. Langton Carr and Martha Skilbeck Cordukes, he served in the Royal Flying Corps during the First World War.
He worked for the Winnipeg Electric Company for 35 years, based at the Seven Sisters Generating Station starting in 1929 and rising to become its Superintendent, interrupted only for a short time in 1953 when he was Superintendent of the Pine Falls Generating Station.
On 19 June 1923, he married Evelyn Dorothy McIntyre (1899-1981, daughter of William Albert McIntyre) at Winnipeg and they had two children: Phyllis Carr (wife of Wilfrid Ducharme) and William G. Carr. He was active in the Seven Sisters Church, Seven Sisters Red Cross, and Seven Sisters Community Club. He was also a member of the Masons (Ophir Lodge).
He died at Winnipeg on 6 September 1954 and was buried in the Elmwood Cemetery.
