Educator.
Born on the family farm near Shoal Lake in 1932, he graduated from the Winnipeg Normal School in 1951 then taught at Linwood School (1951-1953). He was Principal of the Killarney Elementary School (1953-1956) before returning to Winnipeg and completing his teaching career in the Assiniboine South School Division. He was successively the Principal of Royal School (1956-1958), Dieppe School (1958-1966), Royal School (1966-1980), and Westgrove School (1980-1987). He retired in 1987. On 14 August 1955, he married Eileen May Bartley (?-1996) at the Rosebank United Church and they had a son and a daughter. He died at Winnipeg on 18 December 2011.
