Memorable Manitobans: Clifford James Udell (1898-?)Educator. Born at Souris on 1 January 1898, son of Charles Edward Udell (1868-1932) and Susan Rogers (1868-1923), he attended Souris School, Brandon Normal School, and Wesley College (c1929). He took additional normal training at Regina then taught school in southwestern Saskatchewan. He returned to Winnipeg as a teacher at Transcona School (1929) and the Principal of Centennial School (1931-1935), after which his whereabouts are unknown.
