Educator.
Born at the family farmstead in the Rural Municipality of Strathclair on 31 August 1924, son of Anton Tesarski (1884-1949) and Katherina Kiez (1892-1984), he attended Braddock School, Shoal Lake School, and Elphinstone School. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the Canadian Army during the Second World War and completed his military training, but was awaiting deployment when the war ended.
Following demobilization, he became an educator and attained his First Class Teacher's Certificate (1947), Professional First Class Certificate (1950), Principal’s Certificate (1951), Professional First Class Grade A Certificate (1959), Interim Collegiate Certificate (1965), College Certificate (1965), and BPaed (1965), BSc (1966), BEd (1966), and MEd (1972) degrees from the University of Manitoba.
He taught at Willowdale School (1947-1950) and was Principal of Dand School (1950-1953), Mather School (1953-1954), Kenton School (1954-1967), and at Morden (?-?), and was Principal of Reston Collegiate (1974-1979), after which he moved to Brandon. There, he taught at Brandon University (15 years; Math, Physics, and Chemistry) and worked in the field of crop insurance (1979-2003) having acquired his Insurance Agent’s License (1979).
He and his wife Olive married around 1949 and had five children. He was Secretary and President of the Brandon Lions Club.
He died at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on 31 December 2018.
