Educator, chiropractor.
Born at Bracebridge, Ontario on 26 June 1881, dauhter of Agnes Sharpe (c1840-1913) and Roderick Stuart (c1830-1903), her family moved to the Hunterville district five miles east of Rapid City in 1892. She took teacher training at Winnipeg then taught in classrooms around the province, including at Woodlea School (?-?), Glenburney School (1901), Minnedosa School (1905), Deloraine School (1906-1907), and North Transcona School (1915). She was Principal of Griswold School (1908-1909), Oak River School (1912-1914), Lenore School (1915-1917), and The Pas School (1921-1922). Around 1923, she changed careers and became a chiropractor, having a practise at the Scott Block in Winnipeg from 1923 through 1926. She retired in 1931 and settled at Victoria, British Columbia. She died at Manor Private Hospital in Victoria on 1 October 1951 and was buried in the Royal Oak Burial Park.
