Memorable Manitobans: Henry Stewart (1875-?)Farmer. Born in Wellington County, Ontario on 10 February 1875, son of Henry Stewart and Helen McLaughlin Swan, brother of William Stewart, the family moved to Manitoba in March 1896 and settled on a farm near Virden. He later bought his own land on which he raised crops and livestock. On 11 November 1903, he married Ethel Carscadden (?-?). They had three children: Ethel Stewart, George Stewart, and Anna Stewart.
