Community activist.
Born at Gimli in 1889, he lived there all his life. He was the Returning Officer for the Gimli constituency in the 1932, 1936, 1941, 1945, 1949, 1953, 1958, 1959, 1962, and 1966 provincial general elections. He and wife Gudny (?-?) had two daughters and one son. He died at Gimli on 13 September 1981 and was buried in the Gimli Cemetery.
