Nun, educator.
Born at Ponteix, Saskatchewan on 31 May 1927, daughter of Antoinette Rodrigue and Georges Rousseau, her family moved to Manitoba when she was young and she attended King George Fifth School and St. Joseph's Academy. In her teen years, she was influenced by her teachers, the Sisters of the Holy Names. After high school graduation, she began her religious formation in 1947 and took her final profession of faith in August 1953.
After obtaining a teaching certificate, she obtain BA and BEd degrees from the University of Manitoba. She taught at Richard School (1961-1962, Principal), Immaculate Conception School, St-Pierre-Jolys, St. Mary's Academy, Sainte-Agathe, Somerset, and St. Joseph's Academy. She served as Provincial Superior (1969-1975) then returned to the classroom at Saint-Jean-Baptiste.
She died at Winnipeg on 10 February 2024 and was buried in the St. Boniface Cemetery.
