Businessman.
Born in Zuworovska, South Russia on 12 September 1913, in 1924 he joined his family in immigrating to Canada, living in Saskatchewan for three years before moving in 1927 to Osterwick. He attended the Manitou High School before taking grade 12 at the Winkler High School. He moved to Winnipeg in 1936 and worked for a year in a lumberyard then bought a grocery store in 1937. He opened Redekopp Lumber, a building material business, in 1951.
On 2 August 1942, he married Sigrid Neufeld (1918-1983) and they had four sons and two daughters. An active member of the Mennonite Brethren Church, he was a Social Credit candidate for the Kildonan constituency in the 1966 provincial general election.
He died in Winnipeg on 21 February 1988 was buried in the Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
