Memorable Manitobans: Colin Young Mackenzie (1884-?)


Born at Ardrishaig, Scotland, 1884, son of William and Annie MacKenzie. Educated at Scottish Schools, Edinburgh University. Came to Canada, 1907, Winnipeg; articled in law to Fisher & Wilson; S. M. Battram; called to Manitoba Bar, 1911; practised in Winnipeg. Went to Brandon, Coldwell & Curran. Came to Boissevain, 1913. Member, Manitoba Bar Association. Solicitor for Dominion Bank, town of Boissevain, rural municipality of Morton. Presbyterian and Liberal. Address, Boissevain, Manitoba.
