Educator, dancer.
Born at Swan River on 17 December 1955, son of Nick Kohuch and Mary Wasyluk (1930-2012), he received his education at the University of Ottawa and the University of Manitoba. He taught in Winnipeg and Roblin before his early death. For many years, he was a member of the Rusalka Ukrainian Dance Ensemble, performing nationally and internationally with this group. He also performed for a short time with the Bulava dancers in Toronto. Kohuch served as a Ukrainian dance instructor and choreographer, also being a member of the Ukrainian O. Koshetz Choir and as a cantor in the Ukrainian Catholic Church in Roblin but also at St. Basil’s Ukrainian Catholic Church and St. Josephat Ukrainian Catholic Church in Winnipeg. He died at Winnipeg on 12 January 1988.
