Educator.
Born around 1913, son of Clara Karalnick (?-1974), he became a teacher and earned a BA degree (1955) from the University of Manitoba. He taught at Dublin Bay School (1933-1934) and Sarto School (?-1941) and was Principal of Wingham School (1941) and Connor School (1941-1942). During the Second World War, he served as a Signalman and married Sarah Cohen (?-1991) on 25 December 1943. Following the war, he worked as a census enumerator for the 1946 Western Canadian Census and continued teaching at Transcona Collegiate (?-?), West St. Paul School (1955-1956), and Sargent Park School (1959-1960), later becoming Principal of a Pre-Vocational Training School (1964-?). He died at the Seven Oaks Hospital in Winnipeg on 12 October 1990 and was buried in the Rosh Pina Memorial Park.
