Educator.
Born at Brandon on 23 April 1910, son of George Hickling and Jeanie Rhind, he was educated at Brandon then taught school, serving as Principal of Napinka School (1942-1944) and Rapid City School (1944-1956). In 1956, he returned to Brandon where he served on the teaching staff of the Brandon School Division. He was a member of Knox United Church, IOOF, and Masons. He was married with three children. He died at Brandon on 29 August 1968 and was buried in the Brandon Cemetery.
