Educator.
Born on 28 October 1937, son of John Drewniak and Mary Drewniak, he attained a BA (1973) degree from the University of Manitoba. Following teacher training, he taught for 38 years, including at Sunbeam School (1960-1961), Sundown South School (1961-1964), and was Principal of Sundown Village School (1964-1970). On 23 May 1959, he married Marlene Boychuk (?-?) at Arbakka and had two sons, though they divorced in 1997. He was active in 4H Clubs, Vita Credit Union, Manitoba Teachers’ Society, and churches in the southeast of region of the province. He died on 10 August 2013 with his cremains interred in the Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Parish Cemetery at Arbakka.
