He taught at schools in rural Manitoba, including Steinbach School (1918-1919) and Silberfeld School (1923), and was Principal of Gretna School (1924-1925), Hartney School (1929-1933), Altamont School (1933-1936), Birtle School (1939-1940), and Carman School (1941). Earlier and later whereabouts are not yet determined.
