Farmer, liveryman.
Born in England on 24 January 1880, son of George John Bescoby and Mary Bernard, the family emigrated to Canada in 1890 and settled on a farm in the Rockwood Municipality. He remained on the family farm until 1908 when he went to Stonewall and purchased a livery business.
He was married twice, first on 20 March 1911 to Josie Fraser (?-?) of Scotland. On 8 April 1922, he married widow Rosina Daniel (1887-1962). He was a member of the IOOF, Modern Woodmen of America, and COF. He died at Winnipeg on 27 January 1960 and was buried in the Brookside Cemetery.
