Educator.
Born at Morden in 1927, a 31-year career in education included 20 years of service to the Fort Garry School Division, as a teacher of mathematics and computer science at Vincent Massey Collegiate (1965-1968), mathematics supervisor (1968-1969), Principal of Crane School (1969-1972) and Ryerson School (1972-1974), Assistant Superintendent for Elementary Schools (1974-1982), and Assistant Superintendent for Personnel (1982-1985). She retired in December 1985. She and husband Alvin Norman Andrew (1927-1956) had two daughters, including paediatrician Maureen Andrew (wife of Hugh O'Brodovich). She died at Winnipeg on 17 April 2020 and was buried in the Darlingford Cemetery.
