Educator.

Born in St. Vital on 12 August 1929, daughter of Dorothy Paul (1907-2001) and James Gibson “Jim” Connery (1907-1963), and sister of Edward James Connery, she grew up at Lot 160 on St. Mary’s Road in St. Vital. She attended the Manitoba Teachers’ College and began her career in one-room schoolhouses, including Mount Prospect School (1948-1949). She next taught in Winnipeg and was a resource teacher (?-?) in the St. Vital School Division where later she was Principal at Lavallee School (1983-1985) and Dr. D. W. Penner School (1985-1989). Following retirement in 1989, she worked for several years as a tour guide for Grey Goose Bus Lines.

On 11 August 1951, she married Alexander “Alex” Wilson (1916-2001) at her parents’ St. Mary’s Road dwelling. They had two daughters and initially took up residence at Balmoral Court before relocating back to St. Vital. She died at Winnipeg on 17 September 2006 and was interred in the St. Vital Cemetery.
