Educator.
Born at Brandon on 1 September 1949, daughter of Marjorie Lois Oliver (1930-?) and George Lawrence Oliver (1929-1998), she grew up at Rounthwaite. After taking a one-year training program at Brandon College, she married Robert Ross and began a 40-year teaching career, including 35 years in the Brandon School Division where she taught K-8 and served as Vice-Principal and Principal. After retiring, she returned to work for five years as Director of Field Experience in the Faculty of Education at Brandon University. After her second retirement, she and her husband relocated to Winnipeg where she died on 25 August 2024.
