Memorable Manitobans: Roy Price (1930-2002)Musician, music store owner. Born in Winnipeg’s North End to William and Jean Price, he attended Norquay School, St. John’s High School, and the University of Manitoba. He worked at Canada Customs until he started Harmony Music. He was a working musician, played many instruments but loved the piano and led a local band for several years. He also composed music, wrote poetry and fiction. He died at Winnipeg on 4 March 2002 and was interred in the Holy Family Cemetery.
