Athlete.
Born in Winnipeg around 1940, he attended Queenston School and Kelvin High School where, along with time at the Sir John Franklin Community Centre, he developed athletic skills, particularly in hockey. He started playing with the St. Boniface Canadians at the age of 16, then moved to the Flin Flon Bombers of the Saskatchewan Junior League where he lead the league in scoring. Drafted by the Montreal Canadians, he played at Hull and Ottawa. In 1960, he played for the Canadian Olympic team and won a silver medal. The following year, he played four games with the Canadians before moving to the Boston Bruins for a years and a half. He played 12 more years with various American professional teams. He was inducted into the Manitoba Hockey Hall of Fame (2005). He and wife Phyllis ? had a son and three daughters. He died at St. Petersburg, Florida on 26 May 2020.
