Grain merchant.
Born at St. Marys, Ontario in August 1879, he came to Winnipeg in 1910 and served as Secretary-Treasurer of the Grain Growers’ Grain Company until 1912 when he partnered with Alexander McIntyre Blackburn in the grain firm of Blackburn and Mills. It was later renamed Blackburn Mills and Graham. Later he worked for the Canada West Grain Company.
He married Eiliane Isabel Morrow (1880-1965) of Carman and they had one son, William David Mills (1928-2012). The family lived at 319 Victor Street (c1911) and 22 Alloway Avenue (c1965). He was a member of Westminster United Church and Masons (Ionic Lodge). He died at Winnipeg on 9 July 1965 and was buried in the Elmwood Cemetery.
