Born at Winnipeg on 4 March 1924, daughter of George Elmer Martin (c1895-1958) and Beatrice Morton (1893-?), she was a teacher at Golden Stream School (1942-1943) and in the Winnipeg School Division, including at John M. King School (1950-1954), Norquay School (1955-1959), Robert H. Smith School (1959-1961), and Grosvenor School (1964-1965), prior to serving as the Principal of Argyle School (1965-1966), Glenelm School (1966-1968), and Wolseley School (1968-1977). She died at Winnipeg on 26 July 2002.
