Memorable Manitobans: Ernest Lott Kerr (1893-?)

Educator.

Born in Ontario on 31 January 1893, son of Edward Kerr (1859-1934) and Susan Kerr (1860-?), he grew up at Collingwood (1901) and moved with his family to Winnipeg by 1906, at which time they resided at 523 Notre Dame Avenue. He attended teacher training and became an educator, with his work in rural Manitoba including time at North Springfield School (1915), Happy Thought School (1917), Whitemouth School (1918, Principal), Dehowa School (1918), and McKay School (1919). His whereabouts after 1919 are not yet determined.
