Memorable Manitobans: Peter Janzen (1940-2016)Educator. Born at Morden on 24 March 1940, son of John and Elizabeth Janzen, he studied at the University of Winnipeg then embarked on a career as a teacher. He taught English and was Vice Principal at Windsor Park Collegiate for thirteen years and was Principal at Beliveau Junior High School for one year then was Principal at J. H. Bruns Collegiate (1979-1995). He also taught in Altona for a year and at an elementary school in St. Boniface for a year while he finished an education degree at the University of Manitoba.
