Farmer.
Born at Carleton Place Lanark County, Ontario on 18 September 1876, son of John and Margaret Hamilton, the family settled in Manitoba and homesteaded that northeast quarter section of 2-4-4W. On 11 June 1907, he married Jennie Irene Campbell (1887-1957) of Hartney and they had three children: Clifford Alexander Hamilton (1908-1957), Elva May Hamilton (1911-2005, wife of Percy Elmer Scharf), and Ruby Irene Hamilton (1925-2020, wife of James Arthur Simpson). He was a trustee of the Manitou Consolidated School. He died at Altamont on 2 September 1952 and was buried in the Manitou Cemetery.
