Educator.
Born in Ontario on 2 October 1879, son of Thomas Greenway and Emma Essery (1855-1934), he was educated at Crystal City School and the Winnipeg Collegiate, graduating from the latter in 1896. He attended the Central Normal School then served successively as Principal of Clearwater School (1897-1900, 1902-1903), Souris School (1900-1902), and Crystal City School (1904-1906), holding the latter position up to his death. An avid athlete, especially in football, he held a good medal in shooting from the Crystal City Gun Club. He died unmarried at Crystal City on 14 August 1906 and was buried in the Thomas Greenway Cemetery.
