Musician.
Born at St. Paul, Minnesota, son of Olive Green, he came to Winnipeg in 1913 and attended Kelvin High School and the University of Manitoba. He became active in music at an early age, playing under conductor Hugo Regnold. He played the organ or piano at the Allen Theatre and Orpheum Theatre and was involved in early radio and television programming in Winnipeg. At the time of his death, he had his own series of programs on CBC. He was Musical Director at the Winnipeg Arena and his orchestra played at many musical events. He was a member of the Lions Club of Winnipeg, AF & AM (Tuscon Lodge), and St. Matthews Anglican Church. He died unmarried at his Winnipeg home, 563 Sherburn Street, on 14 July 1965.
