Businessman.

Born at Nancy, France on 18 September 1879, he came to Winnipeg in 1909 where, in 1912, he founded and was President of Gaspard and Sons. He retired from the business in 1960.

On 10 February 1912, he married Hadwig Marie Muller (1890-1970) and they had ten children: Alfred Herbert Gaspard (1912-1912), Mariette Ann Gaspard (1913-2003, wife of Kenneth Armstrong Lemon), Robert Arthur Edward Gaspard (1915-1991), Helen Magdalen May Gaspard (1919-2006, wife of John Porter), Yvonne Ruth Gaspard (1919-2006, wife of Harry Charles Paul), Marguerite Mary Gaspard (1921-2015), Edith Gaspard (1923-2024, wife of Reuben Cherniack), Frederic Theodor Gaspard, Joseph Omer Gaspard (1928-2002), and Marie Rita Gaspard (1930-2007, wife of George F. Richcreek).

He died at the Winnipeg General Hospital on 15 February 1965 and was buried in the Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
