Memorable Manitobans: Frederic Theodor Gaspard (?-2008)


He was president and chief executive officer of Gaspard Sons, a manufacturing company, with a head office and factory in Winnipeg with branch offices in Toronto, Minneapolis, and two factories in Puerto Rico. He was a private pilot and for years enjoyed the challenge and sport of flying, joining friends on adventure trips to northern Canada and Alaska. He was a member of the Bakers Dozen and Chaine de Rotisseurs. He was a member of the Lakewood Country Club.

He died at Puerto Madryn, Argentina on 15 January 2008 after a brief illness.
