Memorable Manitobans: Irmgard Epp (c1929-1983)Educator. Born around 1929, daughter of John J. Epp and Katharina Epp, she was a teacher in the Winnipeg School Division for 30 years, serving as Vice-Principal of Earl Grey School (1968-1970), and Principal of La Verendrye School (1970-1973) and Inkster School (1974-1981). She was an active member of the River East Mennonite Brethren Church. She died at the Victoria Hospital on 6 January 1983 and was buried in the Glen Eden Memorial Garden. Sources:Obituary [John J.
