Cleric.
Born on a farm near Bradwardine on 23 October 1932, son of Fred and Bessie English, he studied Theology at St. John's College. In 1959, he was ordained an Anglican deacon and, the following year, a priest. His first parish (1959-1962) was a four-point charge including Emmanuel Anglican Church, Cypress River, St. Stephen’s Anglican Church, and Stockton. He later served at St. Aidan's Anglican Church (?-?), St. Thomas Anglican Church (1965-1973), Church of the Good Shepherd (?-?), and St. Barnabas Anglican Church (?-?). He retired from active ministry in 2001 and became honorary assistant at St. Mary Magdalene. He died on 4 May 2021 and was buried in the Ancrum Cemetery.
