This former Anglican church at Holland, in the Rural Municipality of Victoria, was built between 1893 and 1894 on a design by local architect Andrew Maxwell. It was opened officially at a service attended by Archbishop Robert Machray. The spire was added in 1898. Plaques inside the church commemorate local parishioners who served in the military during the First World War and the Rev. Waddington Clarke, who died suddenly on 24 February 1903.
Now deconsecrated and known as Emmanuel Historical Church, the building is a municipally-designated historic site (2009).
