Consumer advocate.
Born at Winnipeg on 23 June 1959, daughter of Josephine Amy Ottenbreit (1926-2018) and Henri L. Desorcy (1924-2015), she attended Holy Ghost School and St. Boniface Diocesan High School, graduating from the latter in 1980. She then received a BA degree and Education certificate from the University of Manitoba. She worked at Marymound School for several years then was Executive Director of the Manitoba Branch of the Consumers Association of Canada for over 30 years. She died unmarried at Winnipeg on 1 March 2022.
