Community activist.
Born at Molaoi, Laconia, Greece on 21 May 1935, in 1956 she attended the University of Arizona where she met her future husband Chris Ernest Cholakis. They were married in Tucson, Arizona in 1958 and relocated to Winnipeg where she received a degree in Education from the University of Manitoba. They had two children. She was a long-standing member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church and was local and national President of the Greek Ladies Philoptochos Society of Canada. He was also a board member of the Winnipeg Art Gallery and President of the Parents Guild at Balmoral Hall School. She died at Winnipeg on 28 August 2010 and was buried in the Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
