Farmer, municipal official.
Born at Gladstone on 20 April 1942, son of Stuart Walker Broadfoot (1907-1989) and Alice Margaret Stout (1909-1989), he received a degree in Agriculture from the University of Manitoba then returned to operate the family farm. Active in the community, he served on the board of the local United Church and the Central Plains Regional Health Board, was a director of the local United Grain Growers, served on the executive for the local rink. He also served as a councilor and Reeve (1993-1998) of the Rural Municipality of Westbourne. He volunteered outside of the community as well, with Manitoba Pool, ACRE, and Keystone Agricultural Producers. He died on 27 August 2010 and was buried in the Gladstone Cemetery.
