Business executive.
Born at Lachine, Quebec in 1939, son of Edwin Percival Wright and Marion Barr Fleming, he worked for Imperial Oil at Halifax, Toronto, and Edmonton. In 1984, he moved to Winnipeg where he held executive positions with ICG Propane (Vice-President, 1984-1989; President, 1989-1994), Manitoba Hazardous Waste Management Corporation (President, 1994-1996), Manitoba Liquor Control Commission (President, 1996-2002), and Kraus Global (CEO, 2002-?). He was active with Arts Stabilization Manitoba, Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, and Manitoba Theatre Centre. He died at Winnipeg on 9 October 2016, following a long affliction with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis.
