Memorable Manitobans: Otis Osborne Worden (1887-1963)Educator. Born at Darlington, Ontario on 3 January 1887, son of John Worden (1845-1917) and Charity Osborne (1851-1933), he married Margaret Louise Liddy (1891-?) at Waterloo, Ontario on 3 August 1915. He became a teacher and briefly worked in Winnipeg as Principal of Principal Sparling School (1914-1916). His career continued in Ontario, teaching until the 1940s. He retired to Toronto during the 1950s. He returned to Winnipeg and died there on 18 February 1963. He was buried in the Toronto Necropolis Cemetery.
