Businessman.
Born on a farm in the RM of Roland on 18 October 1916, one of four children of William Arklos Wilton (1887-1972) and Velma Pearl Webster (1890-1983), he attended Utopia School and Roland School then received an Agriculture Diploma (1939) and BSc Agriculture degree (1946) from the University of Manitoba.
In May 1946, he married Shirley Jean Bond (1924-2005) and they moved to Minnedosa where he worked as a representative for the Manitoba Department of Agriculture (1946-1949). In 1949, he joined the staff of Manitoba Pool Elevators and transferred to Winnipeg in 1953 where he was the Corporate Secretary (1969-1980) before retirement in 1980.
He died at Winnipeg on 9 September 2006 and was buried in the Fairview Cemetery. He was survived by two sons and two daughters.
