Pharmacist.
Born on 29 June 1934, he graduated from Daniel MacIntyre Collegiate in 1953 and played on their championship football team. In 1958, he received a pharmacy degree from the University of Manitoba. He was a founding member of the Manitoba Society of Pharmacists in 1973 where he helped to establish the province’s Pharmaceutical Act. He was also on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Pharmaceutical Association for many years. He was appointed the Manitoba Pharmaceutical Association Registrar in 1983, where he served until his retirement in 1999. He was awarded Manitoba Pharmacist of the Year in 1986. An ardent football fan, he was on the Board of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers for 15 years, and held season tickets for over 50 years. He was a member of the St. Boniface Golf Course and the Kiwanis Club. He died at Winnipeg on 5 January 2009.
