Memorable Manitobans: John Fletcher Waudby (1902-1967)Educator. Born at London, England in 1902, he taught school in England and South America before coming to Winnipeg where he spent the bulk of his career at St. John’s College School. He taught Latin, French and Mathematics from 1928 to 1945, and was Headmaster from 1946 to 1950, succeeding Walter Burman. Following amalgamation of the school to form St. John’s Ravenscourt School, he was House Master and Senior Master until his death. He was an organist and choirmaster at several Winnipeg churches.
