Physician.
Born at Portage la Prairie on 5 January 1910, son of John Trueman Thomas (1862-1954) and Sarah Elizabeth English (1865-1955), he practiced medicine in Portage la Prairie at the Portage General Hospital. He was President of the Manitoba Medical Association (1964-1965). On 24 July 1936, he married Annie Fraser Fairfield (1909-1976, daughter of Hugh Clarke Fairfield) at Knox Presbyterian Church in Selkirk. They had two children: Carleton Alfred Charles Thomas and Sally Ann Thomas. He served as Chairman of the Portage School Board (1955) and a member of the Portage Park Board. He died on 20 January 1990 and was buried in the Portage Hillside Cemetery.
