Memorable Manitobans: Eva Stubbs (1925-2017)Sculptor. Born in Hungary on 20 April 1925, she was a respected artist and sculptor for over 60 years. In recognition of her community service, she received the Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Medal (2002). Predeceased by her husband Harold St. George Stubbs, she died at Winnipeg on 16 December 2017. Some of her works in Manitoba included:
