Educator.
Born at Timmins, Ontario on 26 February 1926, as a young man he enlisted in the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps. After his military discharge, he received BEd and MEd degrees from Brandon College. He taught at schools around rural Manitoba and served as the Principal of Greenridge School (1953-1954), Birch River East School (1954-1955), Pine Creek School (1956-1966), and Arborg Collegiate (1970-1988) before retirement at Arborg. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He died at Arborg on 11 August 2017.
