Memorable Manitobans: Albert Rothenberger (1930-2018)


Born at Winnipeg in 1930, he worked at the Winnipeg Free Press then joined the Seven Oaks School Division after completing a degree from the University of Manitoba. He worked for 35 years as a teacher and Vice-Principal, including service as the Principal of West Kildonan Collegiate (?-1988). He was a member of the board for the Luther Home for 42 years, as its Secretary, Treasurer, and Chairman. He died at Winnipeg on 25 January 2018.
