Community activist.
Born at Winnipeg on 23 June 1917 to Clara Louise Austman (1890-1957) and James Hector Miller (1887-1964), she was a lifelong resident of the city, attending Kelvin High School.
On 7 October 1939, she married Burton Allen “B. A.” Robinson at Winnipeg and they went on to have a daughter and three sons. She was a charter member of the Winnipeg Kinettes (a branch of the Kinsmen service club), and later became President and Honorary member. She served as a member of the Rotary International Wheel, being President, District Chair, and having a seat on the International Board. She was a volunteer for many years at the Kinsmen School for Retarded Children. She also enjoyed extended summers with her family and friends at Granite Lake in the Whiteshell Provincial Park.
She died at Winnipeg on 4 April 2006 and was buried in the Thomson in the Park Cemetery.
