Educator.
Born in the Rural Municipality of Pipestone on 16 April 1911, son of William Reid (1879-?) and Martha Isabell Morrison (1879-?), he grew up at Reston, attended Normal School, and became an educator. He taught at Carman School (1933-1936), Wellington School (1936-1937, Principal), and Brandon Indian Residential School (1937-1938). On 14 October 1939, he married Mary Margaret Wilson (1910-2003) of Rapid City at Ottawa, Ontario. They initially lived at Ottawa. He died in 1999 and was buried in the Rapid City Cemetery.
