Family counsellor, municipal official.
Born at Notre-Dame-des-Pins, Quebec on 4 July 1932, daughter of Yvonne and Wilfrid Bisson, the family moved to farm near Guy, Alberta when she was 12. She received a teaching certificate (1953) then taught school in Alberta and North West Territories. She was operating a restaurant at Fort Smith where she met HBC manager George Frederick Reese (1927-1988). They married in 1959 and had two sons and two daughters.
In 1966, the family moved from Nipigon, Ontario to St. Boniface and she received BA (1969), MSc (1971), and BEd (1972) degrees from the University of Manitoba. She taught and was a guidance counsellor in schools in and near Winnipeg, lectured at the University of Manitoba, worked as a family counsellor, and operated a private counselling service.
In 1974, she was elected to the Winnipeg City Council (1974-1977, 1980-1985, 1989-1995), during which time she served on the City of Winnipeg's Historical Buildings Committee (1990) and the Winnipeg Housing Rehabilitation Corporation (1985-1986, 1989-1990).
She moved to Toronto, Ontario in 1996 and died there on 29 January 2024. She was buried in the St. Boniface Cemetery.
