Memorable Manitobans: Arthur Robert “Art” Pearson (1948-2022)
Accountant, community activist.
Born at Winnipeg on 10 October 1948, son of Arnie and Frankie Pearson, he attended the University of Manitoba, received a BSc degree and a charter accounting designation. He became a tax accountant at KPMG, receiving an honorary FCA degree in recognition of service. He served as President of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet and Manitoba Museum. He died at Winnipeg on 2 February 2022.
