Memorable Manitobans: Christian P. Paulson (1863-1953)
Municipal official.
Born in Iceland in 1863, he came to Canada in 1876 and resided at Gimli, where he served as Mayor from 1933 to 1937. He was a charter member of the Royal Winnipeg Rifles, 90th Battalion. He died at Winnipeg on 25 February 1953 and was buried in the Brookside Cemetery.
